This picture was taken seconds before disaster struck. It was 1st&10 on the 33 yard line, 59 seconds to go, down by 3. The ball was snapped, Bulger passed to Isaac Bruce, the ball deflected and a 49er defender fell backwards, somehow the ball ended up in his hands as he landed on a teammate, and the game was over....Why not just run the ball a couple times and let Wilkins hit that field goal!! I was surrounded by thousands of 49er fans in the stadium and I was miserable. I was speechless, in shock, I can't believe we lost to the 49ers!! But hey 49er fans your half way to your win total from last year...2. Wait till we meet again in St. Louis baby!!
