Officially a rat in the race

This is my first post on a blog or in a blog or as a blogger(I can't believe I'm saying this). I heard so much about it, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I just keep reminding myself that just because I'm doing this doesn't make me a trekkie or a magic player, computers are cool now, remember. So I just thought I would get the ball rolling with this first blog and see what comes of it. This is a big step for me, I am someone who just recently traded in my pager for a cell phone. I am OLD SCHOOL but here I am 2005 with a cel phone, a pager, 3 email addresses, a website and now......a blog. What the hell happened to me?? I used to have street cred, checking out bus routes, using the pay phone. I used to write letters and make mix tapes, I used to blow into Contra to make the Nintendo work. Hands free phone, text messages were for techno wizards. If you showed up to my high school with all that you would be asking for an ass whooping. And now look at me. I am now officially in the rat race... but it doesn't feel too bad. Oh wait... I don't have a palm pilot or an ipod or tivo.. so there. AND I have vinyl collection. so I am still old school....... until all that stuff becomes more affordable.
